Florentine Special

Patisserie Florentine is a precious gem spot in Englewood for brunch-fanatics like me. I honestly think that their orange juice alone deserves a full four stars. Having tasted this freshly squeezed OJ, I can't ever go back to typical store-boughts... My only wish is that they sell in gallon size so that I can enjoy it at home as well.

It is very rare that I love every single item from a brand. Adele's 21 album broke this rule in 2011, and now Patisserie Florentine have done the same. I absolutely love everything on my plate each time I come, but the star items on the menu (if i must choose) are: Omelette, Croissant, "chocolate KitKat", and of course the OJ. What's great about this restaurant is that you can customize your meal according to your taste; simply ask to add or remove certain toppings on your order.

Lastly, the service. Oh my, the staffs are super courteous and wonderful whether it's closing time or peak brunch time on weekends. I appreciate they remain on this attitude for customers despite being such a popular spot of the downtown Englewood. Usually the waiting line starts to form around 10:30 or 11am, so I recommend coming in at least by 9:30 or 10am.

I won't miss Le Pain Quotidien anymore as long as Patisserie Florentine is near me!
